COMMA BY CAMPUS IMPACT

Located within a HDB void deck in Woodlands, Comma is a youth centre developed for Campus Impact as a welcoming third place between school and home. Conceived as a community-driven environment, the space was shaped through conversations between stakeholders, volunteers, families and youths, creating a shared vision for a centre that would support learning, belonging and personal growth beyond traditional educational settings.

This project balances openness, flexibility and inclusivity. A community foyer extends the space into the neighbourhood, creating opportunities for casual interaction between residents and centre users. Inside, adaptable activity spaces, collaborative learning zones and informal gathering areas support a wide range of programmes. Mobile partitions and multi-functional spaces allow the environment to evolve alongside the needs of its users, encouraging a sense of ownership and participation.
