Located within Mondrian Singapore Duxton, Firebird by Suetomi is envisioned as a contemporary Japanese dining destination centred around the experience of fire, movement and social dining, inspired by the energy of open-fire cooking, the space is shaped to feel immersive and theatrical - where the relationship between chefs, guests and the dining environment becomes part of the experience itself.

The spatial arrangement balances intimacy and openness through layered seating configurations, controlled sightlines and the integration of the open kitchen as a central focal point. Rather than separating dining from preparation, the project encourages interaction and visual connectivity throughout the restaurant, allowing moments of cooking, gathering and circulation to unfold simultaneously within the space. Delivered through a design and build approach, the project integrates interior design, construction and fabrication into a cohesive commercial environment.
