Located along Liang Seah Street, Kuan Kuan is conceived as a nostalgic Chongqing ganguo dining destination shaped around the intensity, energy and social culture of Sichuan-style communal dining. The project draws from the atmosphere of nostalgic Chinese f&b spaces - balancing bold visual identity, layered dining environments and the vibrant rhythm associated with Chongqing food culture within a kezhan 客栈 style setting.

The spatial experience is organised around gathering, movement and shared dining rituals, allowing different groups and moments of interaction to unfold simultaneously throughout the restaurant. Seating arrangements, circulation flow and spatial layering were carefully considered to create an environment that feels lively, immersive and socially connected while maintaining clarity across the overall dining experience.
