KUBO WOODFIRED KITCHEN

Located at The Pier Robertson, Kubo Woodfired Kitchen reinterprets Filipino heritage through a contemporary dining experience centred around the tradition, craftsmanship and community. Name after the iconic Bahay Kubo - the traditional Filipino nipa hut that symbolises simplicity, resilience and togetherness - the restaurant celebrates the rich cultural identity of the Philippines while embracing global influences through its cuisine.

The interior draws inspiration from traditional Filipino architecture and handcrafted artistry. Authentic materials, Philippine-made furniture and locally crafted decor are thoughtfully the space, from woven nito trays framing the service counter to lighting inspired by the traditional salakab fish trap. Bespoke details, including a vanity modelled after the classic naggera found in the Filipino homes, reinforce the restaurant's cultural narrative while creating a warm and contemporary dining environment.
