Located within Shaw Centre Singapore, Muikee Orchard is conceived as a contemporary Cantonese dining destination shaped around the richness of roast meat culture, communal dining traditions and the rhythm of everyday Hong Kong-style hospitality. The project draws from the atmosphere of modern Cantonese eateries — balancing openness, warmth and a layered dining environment that reflects both familiarity and refinement within the context of Singapore’s urban dining scene. The spatial arrangement unfolds through layered transitions between dining, preparation and circulation spaces, allowing moments of activity and interaction to become part of the restaurant experience itself. Visual openness across the dining environment creates continuity between guest, service and kitchen operations, while material contrasts and controlled lighting establish a dining atmosphere that feels grounded yet contemporary.
