Located within Guoco Tower at Tanjong Pagar Singapore, Wagatomo is conceived as a contemporary Japanese dining destination shaped around urban energy, visual boldness and the social rhythm of modern dining culture. The project explores a more expressive interpretation of Japanese restaurant - balancing vibrancy and refinement through a spatial language inspired by the atmosphere of contemporary Tokyo dining environments.

The interior composition is organised through strong visual contrasts, layered seating environments and immersive lighting conditions that establish a distinct dining identity throughout the restaurant. Warm yellow tones, dark material palettes and controlled lighting transitions were carefully integrated to create an atmosphere that feels lively yet intimate, allowing dining, conversation and movement to unfold naturally across the space.
